Last weekends adventure to Ramhultafallet - already looking forward to going back in a few weeks when the oak tree first will have started changing colours 🥹 Thanks for all your tips on this waterfall! I’ve had it on my bucket list for YEARS now and it was so much better than I had expected!! Especially because of the lovely nature reserve it’s located in, with loads of barbecue areas, a nice hiking trail, beautiful lake to swim in (and maybe a sneaky bag of chanterelles) 😅🍄

Ljungskile to Uddevalla***** oops 😅😅!

Tips on an amazing coastal walk that we hiked the other weekend!!! The Kuststigen is my favourite trail in West Sweden and we have done quite a few of the different sections but this has to be one of my favourites 😍

To get there you can take the bus to Ljungskile and to get home take the train from Uddevalla (or the other way around). The hike was 30km so we did it over two days - probably could have managed it in 1 but now the days are getting shorter it’s probably better to plan for 2 just incase!

Tips on the amazing camping spot we found - such a dreamy location 🥹 I’ve saved all the beaches, camping spots that we passed to my West Sweden Map to make it easier to plan!!

P.S promise we had more than cinnamon buns for dinner 😉

Dream house inspiration from an Airbnb on Bjärehalvön 💌 Does anyone else have a big folder filled with pictures like this?! The longer we live in an apartment the more I am dreaming of having an old house in the countryside with colourful wallpaper, a big flower garden, and a fully stocked craft room 🥹

Definitely recommend a trip here this autumn!! The house is located in the middle of a beautiful nature reserve and has the cosiest greenhouse perfect for the cold evenings! The area has loads of hikes, nice cafes, beaches, farm shops and little villages to explore!

Asperö Norra 💌 One of best things to do in Gothenburg is take the ferry out into the archipelago- no matter what time of year it’s beautiful! Asperö is perfect for swimming and hiking and the boat trip out is so pretty!!

By far the coolest place we camped this summer (and possibly ever?!?) I had seen pictures of Landmannalaugar online before we went and thought it would be beautiful but it was SO much more incredible than I could have imagined! We spent 3 days hiking around the landscape and were so lucky with how the weather turned out! Places like this are why camping and hiking holidays will always be my absolute favourites 😍🌟💌

Taken from the balcony last night 😍😍 We have seen more Northern Lights this summer that I saw the whole first 4 years I lived in Sweden… totally crazy! There will supposedly be a lot of activity over the next few days so make sure to keep a look out! Some tips are

🌟 The app “Aurora” is great for sending you notifications when there’s a high chance!
🌟 Join the Facebook group “Norrsken” for daily updates
🌟 Try and go somewhere with minimal light pollution
🌟 They come and go so just keep watching - the camera picks them up better than the eyes so if you’re not sure it can be good to take photos of the sky in intervals to see if they’re there and if it’s worth staying outside to watch!
